RedEnvelope For the Win
So, one of the great benefits of being a blogger is the opportunity to find out about great products and companies. This Father's Day has proven to be a perfect example of why it's awesome to be a blogger all thanks to a company called RedEnvelope.
Let me explain. For those of you who don't know this--I like beer. I'm not talking I like to drink Coors Lite over ice or that I can't wait to pound Budweisers on the weekend, I like good beer--micro-brews. I like walking into a good liquor store and seeing tons of new micro-brews and trying to decide which one I am going to try. I usually always walk out of the store with four six packs as my imagination gets the best of me. So, when RedEnvelope let me pick a Father's Day gift from their online shop on the house--I couldn't help but go with the MR Beer home brew kit.
RedEnvelope's catch phrase is: the place for unique and personalized gifts. Let me tell you it was tough trying to decide what to get because they so many freaking cool unique and personalized gifts. They are kidding around here.
They had tons of freaking awesome stuff there. And the personalized part of my gift was that it came with four personalized pub glasses! Score! I picked out my gift on Friday and on Wednesday it arrived. The service is quick, professional and the product line is top notch. Great folks over there at RedEnvelope.
Since I got the MR Beer brewery set, I have been researching everything about home brewing, MR Beer and advanced recipes on their website. I am not saying that I am going to be the next big thing in micro-brewing, but I can say this--RedEnvelope got my attention and is definitely on the map for cool gifts. Next time I check out their site it might be to pick up the Grillslinger.
So, thank you RedEnvelope for the awesome Father's Day Gift and thanks for turning me onto a great product like MR Beer. I brewed my beer in about thirty minutes and now I have like two-three weeks before I have a product capable of drinking. Too freaking cool!

Sounds great. I would love to try making my own beer. Let us know how it turns out.
